It’s almost time for Lions Club Kid League Baseball—and we can’t wait to see our kids back on the field! Families in Vernon and surrounding communities are invited to register for the 2026 season.
Registration Dates
Online Registration: Sunday, March 1, 2026 – Thursday, March 19, 2026
Registration will not be accepted after March 19, 2026.
Cost: $37 per player (electronic check or credit/debit required)

Who Can Play?
Kid League Baseball is open to players:
• Age 5 (by May 31, 2026) through 8th Grade
• From the Vernon area and nearby communities including Vernon, Chillicothe, Harrold, Crowell, Quanah, Electra, and Frederick
Leagues by Grade
• T-Ball: 5-year-olds, Pre-K, Kindergarten (5 by May 31, 2026)
• Midget League (Pitching Machine): 1st–2nd Grade
• Pee Wee (Kid Pitch): 3rd–4th Grade
• Intermediate (Kid Pitch): 5th–6th Grade
• Babe Ruth (Kid Pitch): 7th–8th Grade
Important Dates
Draft (Coaches Only): Tuesday, March 31, 2026 at 6:00 PM
Location: Wilbarger Auditorium – Western Room
Anticipated Season Dates:
• Practices: April 1 – April 20
• Games: April 21 – June 16
